Well...we're winding down our Pandora sales, Saturday will be the last day to purchase in the store and Sunday evening will be the last day to purchase from the online store! This is a very bittersweet time for me, I love Pandora but things change in our lives and we must do what we need to do for ourselves. I remember the first time I saw Pandora, it was about this time of the year because I remember my sister had my nieces at the beach for Spring break! I called her and told her there was a store in Destin, FL she had to go by to look at this Pandora line. So, she took a look and said, yes, let's have the Pandora rep come by and have a look. The Pandora rep for the Alabama region came in with this great, cool line for charm bracelets. I'll be honest, I've never been a charm bracelet fan, personally, but this Pandora stuff was tres chic! We ordered, on the spot, and decided right then and there that Gold Retailer status was the ONLY way to go. I have been a Pandora fan ever since the day I built my first bracelet for myself. The most fun I had was designing bracelets to display in the store AND I created my own Pandora catalog with photos of bracelets and photos of the charms so my customers would be able to see everything in one book and get ideas. I remember the rep commenting on how smart I was to have created such a great looking catalog...so I would like to think that Pandora took a page from my book when they started creating their own catalogs. I know they didn't, but it makes me feel good to think they did! ;-)
As I bag up that last Pandora charm on Monday as we get ready to send our stock back, I will remember all of the folks who have made Pandora a success for us over the years, because Pandora has been a very successful line and has continued to grow over the years. Thank you to our in-store customers and our online customers who we have had the opportunity to service and for making this such a wonderful experience. We could not have done this without you!!!
