Aromatherapy Resources, Recipes and Goodies!

Essential Oils provide natural benefits for health and well being. While each oil has a specific healing/health benefit, blends together can provide ways to boost your immune system, create opportunities for healing or can provide a way to naturally cleanse the air, boost your spirits or remind you of something or someone familiar. The olfactory system includes all physical organs or cells relating to, or contributing to, the sense of smell. When we inhale through the nose, airborne molecules interact with the olfactory organs and, almost the brain.
There are three ways that oils enter your system, 1) inhalation, 2) application or 3) ingestion. The most common ways are inhalation or application; ingestion should only occur if you are very knowledgeable about the oils since some essential oils can be toxic to the liver or kidneys when ingested.

With that said, all of my blend recipes are either used in a diffuser, in bath salts and a few are rolled on. I rarely ingest oils, but that is my preference. The brand that you choose will indicate whether an oil can or should be ingested. To my knowledge, the brands that I am selling are not typically ingested. Another thing to keep in mind is that I blend to my preference, you can adjust to your preference. Additionally, the quantities will be drops so 12 eucalyptus indicates 12 drops of eucalyptus. I also use a Young Living diffuser for a many of my blends.
